Dr. Jeonghyeon Kim consulting with a patient at the desk at NuA Korean Medicine Clinic

We don't just look at where it hurts.
We look at your body and daily life as they are now.

Nurture your inner balance Rather than quickly checking only your uncomfortable symptoms and stopping there, NuA Korean Medicine Clinic listens to when the discomfort started and what keeps repeating in your daily life, and then provides care.

A 2-minute walk from Gangnam Station Exit 12 · 5F, Junkyung Tower

Dr. Jeonghyeon Kim personally looks after everything from consultation through the course of treatment.

Your body keeps sending signals,
but have you been putting up with them each time?

There are times when your neck and shoulders often feel stiff or your lower back hurts again and again, when your weight comes back even after you start a diet, when your digestion is uncomfortable and fatigue doesn't easily go away, or when skin problems or women's health concerns keep recurring.
If the discomfort continues, it is worth first looking at what keeps repeating in your body right now.

Even with the same symptoms,
care can't be the same

Even when symptoms look similar, when they started, your living environment and how uncomfortable you are differ from person to person. At NuA, we listen to your whole story, check what needs checking, and then explain the direction of treatment.

Standards of care at
NuA Korean Medicine Clinic

For NuA, balance is not a result but the standard of care. Rather than how many kinds of treatment we offer, we value the process of judging what needs to be checked for this patient right now and what direction is needed.

We listen first

We start by listening: when it began, in what situations it gets worse, and what worries you most right now.

Standard II

We check your current condition

Based on the consultation, we check what that care requires. We don't apply the same tests to every patient across the board.

Standard III

We choose the treatment you need

Having many treatments available doesn't mean we apply them all. We review the methods you need according to your current condition and the purpose of care.

We explain why it's needed

If we judge that additional treatment is needed, we explain the reason so that the patient can understand it.

We check the changes after treatment

We look not just at whether you received treatment but at what changed, and we reflect that in your next visit.

What concern brings you to NuA?

Pain & Chuna

We look at everything from neck, shoulder and lower back pain to Chuna Manual Therapy (a Korean medicine hands-on therapy for the joints and muscles), Pharmacopuncture (a treatment that applies refined herbal extracts to acupuncture points), Acupotomy (a treatment using a fine needle with a flat tip) and the after-effects of a car accident.

Diet

Rather than looking only at the number on the scale, we look at your appetite, lifestyle patterns and constitution together to set the direction of your diet.

Internal Medicine & Herbal

We offer consultations on recurring discomfort, including digestion, fatigue and women's health, and on herbal medicine.

Skin & Beauty

From skin conditions and atopic dermatitis to Cosmetic Acupuncture (acupuncture applied to the face for skin care), Microneedle Therapy System (MTS) and skin boosters, we consult according to your concerns.
